CM AirlinesHondurasRoatánBay Islands
CM Airlines is Honduras’s domestic aviation specialist, connecting the country’s main cities — San Pedro Sula (SAP), Tegucigalpa (TGU) and La Ceiba (LCE) — with Roatán (RTB) and Utila (UII), the Bay Islands that attract divers, surfers and beach travelers from around the world.
CM Airlines’ core network
The airline’s flagship route is SAP–RTB, connecting the country’s busiest commercial airport with Honduras’s most visited tourist destination. The 40-minute flight eliminates what would otherwise be a ferry journey from La Ceiba — itself a 3-hour drive from San Pedro Sula. CM also operates TGU–RTB and LCE–RTB on select schedules.
Roatán access made simple
CM Airlines deserves significant credit for making Roatán more accessible to both domestic and regional travelers. Before the Bay Islands received their own international terminal, CM’s connections were the primary way Hondurans and regional visitors reached the reef. The airline’s crews are deeply familiar with Bay Islands weather and terrain.
The private charter advantage
Where CM’s network ends — Utila (UII), Guanaja and the smaller cayes — is where private charter begins. Utila is served sporadically by CM; reliable on-demand access to Utila requires AeroRide’s private charter from SAP or LCE. For groups of 4+ visiting Roatán, the per-person cost of a private charter is comparable to CM business class.
